Toyhouse BioAge range: TwentiesOriginally from: Johto, The Weather Institute; HoennFavorite Type(s): Water, Steel, FlyingFavorite food: Oranges, Street style tacos, various sweetsOccupation: Intern Librarian of the Naranja-Uva Academy in Paldea/Contest CoordinatorLikes: Contests, Contest Idols, over the top frilly dresses, fashion showsDislikes: Crowds, loud noises, bitter food, put-downs, her chronic health problemsRandom facts: An excellent cook. Is a heavy sleeper that occasionally sleeptalks. Has a big sweet tooth.Voiceclaim/Voicecanon: Nami Miyahara (JP & ENG)Raine is a shy, sheltered, and gentle young woman who has the patience of a saint. She might have problems speaking up from time to time, and she often ends up having others speak for her (especially Fabiana/Fifi), but she desperately longs to be much more assertive and stand up for herself, especially when it comes to her own feelings and wants. She has been a fan of Contests and Super Contests from a very young age, and part of the reason why may have to do with the fact that her mother and aunts have all worked in the Contest industry. From the dazzling costumes, to the fanciful moves, and delightful songs, Raine believes that becoming a Coordinator may be the key to making herself more confident. While Raine is shy, that does not exactly mean that she is timid, as she tends to get along well with others, and does not seem to fear the idea of meeting strangers. As time goes on, and she gets closer to Fifi and the people they meet together, it seems apparent that she may also have a bit of a sarcastic streak as well. Raine can be playful and mischievous whenever she happens to be with the right people. Raine can often be described as the straight-laced person, to Fifi's block headed-ness, but she is not above letting loose and being silly.Raine grew up being rather sickly, due to various reasons, including asthma. As an adult, her condition is more or less mild, and does not hamper her daily life the way it did as a child, but it still does cause some problems. She is very sensitive to certain environmental conditions, and also tends to get cold very easily.Accompanying her are a Raichu named Maribelle and a Blaziken named Sunny. These have been her beloved partners that she had raised from Eggs, given to her by an aunt who loves to travel. When she is approached by Fifi to help her to become a Trainer by participating in the Academy's research project involving Tera Raids, Raine gathers up the courage to ask her contemporary to help get her acquainted with performance and fashion. Raine, while a shy violet, has a desire to become her idea of what a princess is; much like the contest idols she would religiously follow from a young age. She holds a belief that she can bring beauty to the world by magnifying her own, but it will take a deep dissection of her own self esteem and confidence to do so.Despite having spent most of her adolescence in Hoenn, Raine was actually born in Johto. From a very young age, Raine grew up feeling alienated from her own peers for her health problems, which made her painfully shy. When her health began to affect her ability to go outside more often, she ended up moving to Hoenn's Weather Institute when her father landed a job there. While she was being homeschooled, she then had to deal with the neglect put upon her by her stepmother, who her father had just married once they settled in Hoenn. Her step-mother was not very fond of Raine's birth mother, and only married her father for money. The marriage did not last very long once the truth came out, and Raine was soon free from her step-mother's taunting, but the damage had already been done, and as a result, she seems to have struggles related to her self-esteem, which she intends to quell by becoming a Coordinator. While she did not have many friends growing up, she has a fond memory of a girl she often shared her lunch with in Johto, and a boy who had a similar story to hers' in Verdanturf. She has a longing to re-unite with the girl from Johto especially, but her only memories of the girl seem to be; that the girl was a bit older than her, frequented a lighthouse, and had a preference for Steel Types. Rumor has it that the girl frequented Contest halls, which may be an ulterior motive as to why Raine is interested in being a Coordinator.

Raine's Party Pokemon

Lluvia(♀ Milotic): Lluvia is incredibly playful and always all smiles. At times, she can be slightly on edge, and shy with strangers. She was caught by Raine as a Feebas when Raine was visiting her father with Fifi back in the Hoenn region. Lluvia was weak and homely, and struggled to fend for herself in the wild, due to having a bum left fin. In the river she shared with other wild Pokemon, she had been bullied and left to her own devices. She willingly let Raine capture her, and Raine saw her as the perfect fit for her Beauty contests once her Blaziken; Sunny began training for Tough Contests. Raine really saw a lot of her past in Lluvia's, and begins to cherish her role in the team. While Raine did not pressure Lluvia to evolve into Milotic, Lluvia saw it within herself to make Raine proud, so she would often over extend herself. She eventually evolved into her final form after winning a Beauty Contest. She is mostly used in Beauty Contests, and is Raine's Contest ace.Maribelle (♀ Raichu): Maribelle is Raine's first ever Pokemon, along with Sunny. Given to Raine as an Egg found in Hoenn's Safari Zone by her aunt, she does not battle much since Raine became serious about Contests. She is very affectionate and naive, and tends to accidentally shock other people and Pokemon. She is completely in love with Sunny, as both were given to Raine around the same time, and they function like a bonded pair. Maribelle is one of those Pokemon that does not like to be kept in a ball, so she is frequently seen hovering around Raine, doting on her like a toddler. Her other best friend is Fifi's Meowscarada; Chloe. She is used by Raine in Cool and Cute Contests.Sunny (♂ Blaziken): Sunny, along with Maribelle, was one of Raine's first ever Pokemon, given to her as an Egg by her aunt. He is very protective of Raine, and will often be seen accompanying her when she exercises. He is in a bonded pair with Maribelle and while it seems like he brushes off her affections, he really does like having the Mouse Pokemon by his side. He is Raine's most powerful Pokemon, and as thus, acts as her battle ace. He tends to be used in Beauty and Tough Contests.Amalie (♀ Altaria): Amalie is one of the first Pokemon Raine caught in Paldea. She is very emotional and caring, almost like a mother to the rest of Raine's party. Raine begins to get inevitable comparisons to the Contest Idol Lisia once Amalie evolves. She is often used in Cute and Clever Contests.Demeter (♀ Sawsbuck): Demeter is kind and gentle, even for her size. She really likes to eat and play with toys during picnics. She is often used in Clever Contests. If the air quality is bad, she helps clear the air around Raine so that she can breathe a little bit easier.Castform: Castform is an occasional guest of Raine's courtesy of her father, who happens to be its trainer. While this Pokemon does not belong to her, Raine's father occasionally sends Castform over as a way to check on Raine and see how she is doing. When Raine figures out Castform's gimmick (changing forms depending on the weather conditions around it), she asks her father if Castform can perform in contests with her, to which he happily obliges.

Windy (Koraidon)Windy is the Paradox Pokemon lent over to Raine and Fifi when they agreed to participate in the Tera Raid research project for some of their colleagues. Windy loves to eat as much as Fifi does, and is constantly begging for food. Windy is friendly, eager, and very inquisitive.Windy serves to provide transportation for Raine and Fifi, which allows for the two women to explore places in the various regions they will visit during their adventure. Windy's nickname comes from Fifi, after she noted that he runs as fast as the wind, if not "..even faster!"One day, when one of Fifi's Pokemon got lost in a cavern, the two women found themselves about to be swarmed by a flock of wild Pokemon, until Windy took note and rescued them. As thanks, Fifi fed Windy the sandwich she had packed herself for lunch and the Pokemon has been indebted to the two of them ever since. It seems like the gamut of Windy's power and abilities may not be up to speed, but for some reason, Windy's abilities seem to respond well to peculiar herbs known as Herba Mystica.Windy had actually belonged to a family member of a certain student prior to being passed onto the Academy, and then to Raine and Fifi.

Originally from Johto and Hoenn, Raine is a university student, and trainee librarian for Naranja-Uva Academy. During the beginning of her apprenticeship, she was paired up with her senior; Fabiana (better known as Fifi) who was asked to train her while she got the hang of how things worked. Despite their varying personalities and temperaments, they seemed to have gotten along very well, almost from the start, thanks to Fifi’s observant and caring nature. According to Fifi, she believes that their meeting had to have been an act of fate, and Raine seems to support this claim. Together, they help each other to accomplish their goals; whether it happens to be Raine's dream of becoming a Contest Coordinator, or Fifi's dream of becoming a Champion Ranked trainer. Throughout the course of their individual trainings, Raine begins to feel like librarianship might have been a different calling than she had wished for, and longs to figure out exactly what her actual dream is.When it comes to battle, she doesn’t seem to have a specific type specialty, rather, she tends to lean towards using attacks that affect the surrounding weather. As her father is a Champion Ranked Trainer in Hoenn, it seems apparent that the apple did not fall too far from the tree. Despite her skill in battle, she, has little desire to become a Trainer, and instead, she seems to have a longing to participate in Super Contests. However, being a shy and reserved person has made the idea of performing in front of an audience leaving her more than a bit weary. On top of this, she lacks the know-how regarding how to present herself in a contest, despite having family who work in the industry through her birth mother's side. Her mother was also a stylist and consultant for contestants.Raine grew up in the Weather Institute, as her father is an employee there. Her father can be a tad overprotective of her, but she has gotten better at kindly letting him know when to give her space. At times, he'll send over his partner Pokemon; a Castform to watch over her.
It is not something she brings up frequently, but she never knew her birth mother, as she had passed away when Raine was still a baby. Raine doesn’t seem to know much about her step-mother’s whereabouts since she divorced her father. It is heavily implied that they did not have a good relationship, and Raine seems to dodge the topic whenever it comes up. As she begins to bond with Fifi, she slowly reveals some of the mistreatment caused to her by her step-mother, including emotional neglect, being used to do menial amounts of housework, and put-downs. Part of her ambition to overcome her fears is to prove to her step-mother that she is capable of being a skilled Idol and is able work in the same industry as her birth mother.
When Fifi gets to know Raine better, and seeks out her help to become a trainer, Raine somehow finds herself tentatively signed up to a research project involving Terastalized Pokemon. While she doesn't know what to expect at first, she is soon enchanted by the the marvelous Terastalization phenomenon, and finds herself wanting to shine as brightly as the crystals that cover the caverns of the Tera Raids. Through this project, she also gets to co-own a peculiar Paradox Pokemon with Fifi; a Koraidon they both name Windy.Together, they help each other to accomplish their goals; whether it happens to be Raine's dream of becoming a Contest Coordinator, or Fifi's dream of becoming a Champion Ranked trainer. Throughout the course of their individual trainings, Raine begins to feel like librarianship might have been a different calling than she had wished for, and longs to figure out exactly what her actual dream is.In the future, Raine realizes that she wants to be a teacher and contest coach-not a librarian; her time chaperoning a field trip in Kitakami and touring Blueberry Academy has her thinking about her path in life. As such, she will have to leave Paldea to continue her studies. She manages to keep in contact with her closest friends in Paldea, while working to make a name for herself.

Listed above are some characters that are most relevant to Raine's share of the story. For more in depth relationship info see her relationship tab here on toyhouse.Jasmine: Jasmine most resembles the friend from Raine's past that she desperately wishes to re-unite with. Whenever they face off against each other in Contests, it seems to make Raine a bit nervous. Raine desperately wants to form a connection with her regardless, but her shyness proves to be a barrier. Out of all the people she performs for, Jasmine is said to be one of the people Raine hopes receives her message the most.Dendra: Dendra is a very close friend to both Raine and Fifi upon their arrival to the academy. She seems to be particular about how Raine feels especially, often asking if she needs a bite to eat or having her accompany her during a workout. When she hears about Raine's plans to become a Coordinator, she doubles down and insists that Raine train with her more often to help the sickly woman gain stamina. Raine can find her to be a lot, but is ultimately very grateful for her attention to her well being. When both Dendra and Fifi get up to their usual hijinks, Raine often finds herself cleaning up after their messes.Miriam: Like Dendra, Miriam is close to both Fifi and Raine. As Raine tends to fall ill easily, she often knows of ways to assist her and help her get back on track.Saguaro: Both Raine and Saguaro get along very well, perhaps due to the fact that both of them are observant of each other's sensibilities and insecurities. Whenever Raine doesn't have Fifi or Dendra around to talk to, she finds that Saguaro is a friend she can readily rely on as much as the aforementioned two. She is aware of his secret penchant for sweets, and keeps his secret on the downlow when helping him find new places to obtain treats.Tulip: She helps Raine and Fifi out when it comes to the fashion department. It is a dream of Raine's to have Tulip arrange a new look for her when it comes to her Contest performances. They are mutual friends through Dendra.Ryme: Both Raine and Fifi love spending time with Ryme, due to the three's shared interest in music. At times, she may even offer music and dance ideas for Raine's contest performances.Wally: A childhood friend of Raine's. They have not spoken to each other in years, but she believes things would be the same as they were when they last spoke. She occasionally wonders if he is doing all right.Lisia: Raine has yet to meet her, but is often compared to her, especially due to their appearances and occupations.

Toyhouse BioAge range: Middle-agedOriginally from: UnovaFavorite Type(s): Dark, Normal, FireFavorite food: Anything (seriously, anything; but most especially Pancakes).Occupation: Librarian of the Naranja-Uva Academy in Paldea. Also has odd jobs around the Academy (such as in the Cafeteria) to help supplement Raine's Contest endeavors, and her own family back home.Likes: Friendship, food, academia, learning about new things for the sake of learning, magical girl cartoons, collecting comics, fashion, manicures, finding out people's favorite thingsDislikes: being flirted with, being seen in a objectifying way, her touch aversion, people who put others down for liking things/hobbies, when a Pokemon is hurt or injuredRandom facts: Has a slight overbite. Not the best at cooking. Does stretches when she gets nervous. An open secret of hers is that she is also a media geek, especially for the magical girl and mecha genres, as well as Saturday morning cartoons from her childhood. She advises the Academy's DND club. One of the titles she holds close to her heart is a magical girl themed anime known as Evielution Twinkle, and she references it quite often.Voiceclaim/Voicecanon: Taeko Kawata (JP)

Fabiana; much preferring to go by Fifi, is a fun-loving, energetic middle aged woman who loves getting to know people from all walks of life. Despite her manner of dress and presenting very feminine, she has a down to earth/tomboyish manner of speech. Fifi is especially passionate about her special interests and does not shy away from bringing them up in a conversation. She is commonly percieved as someone who is clueless and vapid, and is often expected by others to be the sort of person who does not take life very seriously, especially for her age. Her proclivity towards humor, and using humor to deflect her feelings contributes to this. Her innocence and well meaning intentions are often conflated to foolishness and naivete. However, in truth, she is a down to earth person who is good at seeing the bigger picture of various situations, and she tends to put others' needs first before her own. As thus, she seems to be fond of getting to know people. Fifi does not judge others much, and she likes to know what makes them tick. Having had to restrain her excitable personality and passion for her hobbies in her youth, she no longer feels the need to hide how she expresses her emotions as an adult. As a result, she can seem pretty lively (even if to the chagrin of others). She has a tendency to seek out joy and whimsy in the mundane, as well as the beauty in things that are mysterious and haunting. This may be why she tends to lean towards Dark and Normal types. One of Fifi's major facades is that she tends to use humor to deflect her problems, often laughing off minor inconveniences to serious issues, contributing to the notion that she doesn't take her life very seriously. She has slapstick/gag-character energy, and doesn't mind being the butt of jokes, especially if it happens to make people around her smile.Something most noticeable about her is that she is an adventurous eater, quite possibly as a result of growing up food-insecure for a brief period in her childhood. She despises wasting food, going as far as eating things she might dislike so that it won't be wasted. She is not a picky eater, and will eat just about anything. It is safe to assume that food is her love language, as she tends to ask the people most important to her if they’ve had something to eat or not. If the answer is no, she will go out of the way to get them something to eat.Fifi harbors a love of learning for the sake of learning. She is enchanted by tales of ancient myths and heroes, often finding stories about the past to be most exciting. Whenever she is able, she often spends her time (even on the clock) to read books about ancient history and myths. The Scarlet Book is of high interest to her because of this, but she tends to keep her desire to read it on the downlow. Her love of research may have been a major factor as to why she dropped out of her previous middling career and studies to become a librarian. She does not take fondly to the assumption that she dresses up for others. When asked why she goes out of the way to always look nice despite going on her Treasure Hunt, in her words; "clothes, nails, and jewelry are replaceable, but people and Pokemon aren't". She loves dressing up simply because it happens to be fun.

Fabiana's Party Pokemon

Chaeri (♀ Cinccino): Chaeri, as an Egg was originally a gift for Raine, from the same aunt who gave her the Eggs that would hatch into Sunny and Maribelle. Raine was not very sure that she was ready to handle another new Pokemon at the time, so she handed the Egg to Fifi, who graciously accepted. When the baby Minccino hatched, Fifi was brought to disbelief, having memories of her late Minccino; Cherise come back rushing to her. She adores Chaeri, dotes on her, and spoils her, but also refused to let her battle. The idea of harming or even losing the same exact Pokemon was too much for her to bear, but Chaeri, while milder in temperament than Cherise, was just as formidable, and proved to be a good back up team member when any of the others were not fit to battle. She evolved when one of Fifi's beloved co-workers gifted her a Dawn Stone.Chaeri is very curious, drowsy, and does not seem to vocalize much. She often stares into space. She is very fond of some of Fifi's close friends, and is often seen lying on Fifi's shoulders and head as she does not like being confined to a Pokeball.Chloe (♀ Meowscarada): Chloe was Fifi's first Pokemon after over a decade of having retired from being a trainer. She is feisty, and thrives off of attention. She loves to bite Fifi, usually when she believes that she isn't getting enough attention. She was abandoned by her mother as a Sprigatito for being the runt of the litter, and taken in by the Academy to be cared for, and hopefully taken in by a student. When Fifi signed up to participate in the Tera Raid project, she was given a choice of Pokemon to join her team, and she chose the lonely Sprigatito. Chloe, however, did not take very well to Fifi at first, refusing to let her get close to her, as she was still in denial over being abandoned and believed her mother would come back to her. After a tense beginning, Chloe began to accept Fifi as her trainer, and they have been inseparable ever since.Flynn (♂ Talonflame): Flynn was the first Pokemon Fifi ever caught in Paldea, as a Fletchling. Focused and incredibly fast, he serves the role as one of Fifi aces, despite her Dark-type specialty. Through and through, he has proven to be among her strongest team members, especially in a pinch. He is calm, mature, and collected, and does not mind Fifi's goofball hysterics. He is receptive to being smothered with love, as she treats him, and all her team members like her children. He really respects her direction, regardless of her battle anxiety, because she cares a lot about him. He and Aloy battle in tandem a lot, so they've grown to be like brothers.Aloysius (♂ Zoroark): Aloysius (better known as Aloy) was caught by Fifi after he sneaked off with food set up by herself and Raine when they had a picnic together. He is very suave, flirty, and does not hesitate to gather around any female that he sees (even though he always gets rejected). If he were a human, he would be an archetypal ladies' man. Along with Flynn, he serves the role as Fifi's main ace.His Dark-type moves are no joke, though he tends to be a bit of a glass cannon, so he compensates for that by being very agile. He is protective of his other team members, like an older brother; particularly of Fifi's Hydreigon; Bebe.Priscilla (♀ Mightyena): Priscilla is the daughter of two of Fifi's former Pokemon; Chanchito and Princesa. She has a playful streak. She has learned how to use a smile to get snacks. She is very independent. Among the rest of Fifi's team, she is the one who likes to explore and venture out into her surroundings the most. She will leave dirt on the floor if you are not careful, but thankfully, she really enjoys baths, sometimes letting others know its time for her to take one. As long is the water is shallow and the bubbles aren't in an abundance, she can be left alone to rest in the tub.Karina (♀ Liepard): Karina is the daughter of one of Fifi's former Pokemon; Matilda and an Umbreon belonging to one of Fifi's college roommates. She is very friendly and loves spending time around humans. She likes being scratched behind her ears, and physical affection in general. If she likes you, she will lean on you or lie next to you while making contact. She is an expert at pouncing, and she tends to bring things home as gifts (soggy leaves, half eaten berries, roadkill. Name it, she has probably brought it home, much to Fifi's chagrin). Baby Karina was originally sent to live with her mother Matilda and Fifi's uncle simply as a pet, until Fifi realized she could use someone new on her team once she embarked on her Gym Challenge.Bebe (♀ Hydreigon): After being captured, Bebe had a hard time adjusting to being a member of a team, feeling herself to be the weakest member. After some encouragement from Fifi and Raine, she grew and grew, and became less afraid of battling. Like Chloe, she is also a biter. A tad skittish. No matter her size, she tends to hide behind either Raine or Fifi. Aloy treats her like his baby sister, so they get along very well.Giovanna (♀ Houndoom): Giovanna, known by Fifi as "Gigi" was caught sometime before Fifi took on her Champion's Assessment, as a Houndour; joining the team a bit later. In almost every way conceivable, Gigi seems to be the Pokemon in Fifi's team that seems to resemble Fifi's personality the most; whether it happens to be their shared joy at things that make them happy, or their tendency to be a little high energy. They both tend to be regarded as "innocent" and "naive" by their respective peers, which helps Gigi read Fifi's emotions pretty well. Gigi never means harm, despite all appearances as a Pokemon most people regard as either an "omen" or a "scary guard dog" (both of which, she fails to be in that regard). She is playful, as well as friendly to a fault, and tends to see the best in other people, much like Fifi does.

Fifi has lived in Paldea for several years, and she is originally from Unova. She was born in an unspecified region, and her family moved to Unova when she was just a toddler. She had always been engrossed with media, often glued to books or the television, and filling her head with the adventures she would witness with her favorite characters, and even finding joy in more odd topics like peculiar findings in the news, and hourly weather reports. Having come from a time where she and her family had very little, Fifi has worked hard for everything she has ever earned, even in the present. As of currently, she and her cousins continue to work to provide mostly for her parents and the family members that live with them. Their work was what brought food to their family's table, what got them from living in a tiny house to a modest nice apartment, as well as treatment for their grandfather's ailment. The pressure felt especially immense when Fifi's father got an injury that hindered his ability to be able to work again. In college, due to her love of archives and media, she planned to major in media and communications, and while more than halfway through undergrad, she was able to find work interning for a broadcasting company, settling in Virbank City's entertainment district neighboring Poke-Star Studios. Though the bulk of her internship was entry level receptionist work, she had lofty ideals. Perhaps one day she would be working on her favorite shows and movies. Or, voice acting her favorite cartoon characters. Perhaps she would up on the nightly news as an anchorwoman. While she saw her career in the broadcasting company as an opportunity to support her family, she began to show a lessening aspiration to pursue anything else in that regard, especially after she witnessed the industry chewing up and spitting out her talented friends, who had traveled to Virbank to try and make it big. These experiences and the things she witnessed left her feeling jaded about it.Due to her orbit around certain circles, she tended to accompany the party crowd, often getting into mischief. Despite her boisterous social life and being surrounded by people, she found herself to be quite lonely, and unable to connect with her peers beyond the surface level. Growing up, Fifi was put down often for being too excitable and talkative; especially about her special interests, which tended to exhaust those around her. In desperation to quench her persistent loneliness, she ended up making questionable choices in friends and romantic partners, often with people who weren't very good to her or outright abusive. She has done many things that she regrets in order to keep these relationships. After helping some dear friends escape a very tense situation with some big names in their respective fields, Fifi and her room mates would move eastward to Nacrene City. Fifi would find solace in the library and museum located within Nacrene City's Gym. The library, and future Gym Leader Lenora helped foster in Fifi a love of the machinations of how libraries worked, and re-instilled her love of knowledge and learning for fun. She dropped out of her media major and took up library technology. Fifi and Lenora also took up an internship in the museum's library together. When she left Virbank City to become a librarian, she also took on becoming a Trainer to motivate herself after going through a hard time. Before she had left Virbank City, she also took on becoming a Trainer to motivate herself after going through a hard time. This began she caught Cherise, her first Minccino in her old college dorm before moving out of Virbank and leaving a terrible relationship. They shared many delights and great times together, and Fifi doted on Cherise as if Cherise was her own daughter. She truly believed that Cherise was a blessing to have shown up in her life when she did, which made her sudden death all the more heartbreaking. When they were ambushed by something-or someone that was more ruthless than a run of the mill wild Pokemon, Cherise had used one of her moves to push Fifi out of the way of danger. Nature; predator vs prey, simply had its way and it claimed Cherise. Even to this day, Fifi believes that she is at fault for Cherise's passing, claiming that she took responsibility for using the move that would end her partner's life.Upon completing her library technology program, Fifi moved to Paldea in her late thirties-early forties, where more library jobs were available at the time. She starts off in a smaller library in Medali some time after finishing her graduate degree, then gets her dream job in Mesagoza's Naranja-Uva Academy.Fifi serves as one of the multiple librarians in Naranja-Uva Academy. Her type specialty seems to be Dark types, though she is also familiar with Normal and Fire types as well. She has a burgeoning desire to become a Champion Ranked Pokemon Trainer, mainly to overcome a phobia of conducting Pokemon battles. She had developed this fear as a university student due to the traumatic loss of Cherise. To meet this end, she signs herself and her understudy Raine up for a research project with other colleagues and students, involving Tera Raids. From there she gains a slight independence, though she still relies on Raine when it comes to larger Gym battles.Upon moving to Paldea, she had made it a mission to make many new friends, wholly and earnestly. The theme of her story can easily be summed up with the quote: “You have not met all the people who will love you yet.” When she meets shy wallflower Raine, she knows that she is right on track. Her ultimate goal besides becoming a Champion is to find a quiet, serene home life she can readily retire to at the end of each of her adventures, given the life she's lived up to now. Despite her wacky sensibilities, her past experiences have caused her to crave normalcy in her life.

Listed above are some characters that are most relevant to Fifi's share of the story. For more in depth relationship info see her relationship tab here on toyhouse.Larry: He might have been the first friend that Fifi ever made upon her arrival to Paldea, as she had originally worked and lived in Medali before moving to Mesagoza. Fifi seems to uphold a (self-appointed) tradition to have dinner together with him at least once a week at the Treasure Eatery as she would constantly run into him. It is not really known what he really thinks of her since he doesn't really offer much to say in response to her discussions. She considers him to be a great listener. Their friendship starts off quietly and cordially, but Fifi grows comfortable with sharing snippets of her day and eventually going on long winded diatribes about her special interests, much to his chagrin. Whenever she has something she can't really discuss with her friends at the academy, he is usually the one she ends up (drunkenly) pouring her heart out to for better or worse. She does not know anything about his roles in the Pokemon League until after she takes on the Gym Challenge.Dendra: Dendra is a very close friend to both Raine and Fifi upon their arrival to the academy. Fifi and Dendra seem to have a "playful nemesis" type of friendship; they prank each other and pick on each other. Neither of them seem to be known for their food prep skills, but they, for some reason are fond of each other's cooking.Miriam: Like Dendra, Miriam is close to both Fifi and Raine. She tends to scold Fifi whenever she acts out/becomes a bit too silly, but it always comes from a place of care. Miriam is a good friend who lets either of the women vent to her when they need a shoulder to lie on.Jacq: A co-worker of Fifi's who she is particularly fond of. Fifi finds him a joy to be around, but also admits that she has to work to get his attention. He seems ditzy and is often distracted. He is the one who suggested to Fifi and Raine to participate in the research project that they both eventually sign up for.Raifort: A co-worker of Fifi's whom she holds in high regard and earnestly admires. Fifi can't seem to make sense with regards to how Raifort feels about her however; at first it seems like they get along, but then the next moment, they are in each others' hair. Fifi tends to approach her by humoring her, as she would prefer to see eye to eye and avoid conflict, but sometimes she dares to push the mysterious woman's buttons. Fifi has a deep longing to break through and actually spend more time with her, as she believes they would actually be great friends due to their shared love for ancient history. For the time being, she continues to approach Raifort, just by being herself. She admires Raifort a whole lot and wants to be seen as an equal by her; more than just another person who happens to work in the same place as the other.Rika: A member of the Elite Four who finds Fifi to be peculiar, but nonetheless, praises her for taking on the League at her age while working full time. Unsurprisingly, like several others Fifi meets during her Treasure Hunt, Rika tends to pick on her a lot. She likes to make Fifi flustered, which causes Fifi to go out of the way to avoid her at times.Geeta: Fifi is incredibly awestruck by La Primera, and wants nothing more than to be able to finally challenge her. Admittedly, she also tends to be a little nervous around her, and can't decipher whether or not this is because of a gut feeling, or her admiration.Nemona: A student at the academy Fifi is a librarian at. Ever the energetic Trainer, she is elated when she hears that a staff member at the school she goes to is participating in the Treasure Hunt and taking on the Pokemon League as well. Her energy easily matches Fifi's and she is more than willing to help her conquer her battle phobia. Even with her reservations related to battle, Fifi finds it hard to say no to a battle with Nemona, as admittedly, Fifi sees a lot of her younger self in Nemona.Arven: A student at the academy Fifi is a librarian at. He asks Raine and Fifi to help him in his quest to gather up Herba Mystica to help a beloved friend of his. Little do they know the work it will take for them to retrieve these herbs, but he reassures them he'll do his share as well. He tends to pick on Fifi a lot, because he finds her energy and short attention span to be exhausting. More often than not, he'll refer to her as "Granny Fifi".

Pictured above: Fabiana/Fifi in her twenties with Cherise. When she left Virbank City to enroll in a new university in Nacrene City to become a librarian, she also took on becoming a trainer to motivate herself after going through a hard time.

Cherise (♀ Minccino): Cherise was discovered by Fifi some time before she had undergone a very rough time in her life.Cherise was brash and tomboyish, and had a mischievous streak. Cherise would be fed by Fifi after she kept appearing at her dorm one day, and eventually willingly allowed herself to be caught when Fifi decided to go on small adventures when she didn't have class or work. They shared many delights and great times together, and Fifi doted on Cherise as if Cherise was her own daughter. She truly believed that Cherise was a blessing to have shown up in her life when she did, which made her sudden death all the more heartbreaking. When they were ambushed by something-or someone that was more ruthless than a wild Pokemon, Cherise had used one of her moves to push Fifi out of the way of danger. Even to this day, Fifi believes that she is at fault for Cherise's passing, claiming that she took responsibility for using the move that would end her partner's life. There is a hole in Fifi's heart that cannot be filled, where Cherise used to occupy. Fifi often carries around her Pokeball (a Premier Ball adorned with decal stickers), as a comfort item.Princesa (♀ Poochyena): Princesa originally belonged to Fifi's father, along with Chanchito, so they grew up as pets that Fifi would play with as a child. She was very prim and proper, and was always grooming herself. Was capable of taking a hit. She is happily retired to the life of a pet once more, and is the mother of Fifi's current team member; Priscilla.Chanchito (♂ Zigzagoon): Chanchito originally belonged to Fifi's father, along with Princesa, so they grew up as pets that Fifi would play with as a child. He was very agile and always on alert. Very fast. He is happily retired to the life of a pet once more, and is the father of Fifi's current team member; Priscilla.Matilda (♀ Purrloin): Sly and sleek, she was the beauty of Fifi's former team. She now lives with Fifi's uncle and younger cousin; Ernesto and Imelda. She is the mother of Fifi's current team member; Karina, who she had with an Umbreon belonging to Fifi's college roommate. Baby Karina was originally sent to live with her mother and Fifi's uncle simply as a pet, until Fifi realized she could use someone new on her team once she embarked on her Gym Challenge.

Treasured BouquetStoryLibrary technology intern Raine from the rainy parts of Hoenn has landed the position of a lifetime after gaining a coveted spot in her apprenticeship program. She is sent to Paldea to work inside the prestigious and esteemed Naranja-Uva Academy in Mesagoza. However, is this life something she really finds herself wanting? At times when she finds herself shelving books, she can't keep from imagining what her life would be like if she followed her dreams, but that may be a lot to ask from someone who has spent her entire life hiding in the sidelines.Raine is a shy wallflower who finds herself spending her time solo, watching as the days go by. Originally a Super-Contest hopeful, she finds herself wondering whether her treasure was worth seeking, after her estranged step-mother took exception to her dreams. To Raine, people like her senior; the cheerful and friendly Fabiana, aka "Fifi" are basically from another planet. When the two women are paired up to work together to help the new-comer get a hold of how things work in the Naranja-Uva Academy's Library, young Raine finds herself enchanted by the older fashionista’s’ joie de vivre. However, underneath Fifi’s silly fun-loving demeanor lies a layer of anxiety regarding conducting battles by herself, as a result of trauma and grief. One day, when Fifi curiously spots her junior training her Pokemon partners out in the Academy’s track and field, the scarlet rose begs of the shy violet:“I’ve always wanted to challenge Gyms but never had the experience! Could you possibly teach me to become a Pokemon Trainer!?”In order to help Fifi meet this end, Raine somehow finds herself tentatively signed up to a research project involving Terastalized Pokemon. While she doesn't know what to expect at first, she is soon enchanted by the the marvelous Terastalization phenomenon, and finds herself wanting to shine as brightly as the crystals that cover the caverns of the Tera Raids, bringing to mind her long held dream.Along the way, while Fifi gains the confidence to conquer her battling anxieties, Raine becomes more certain that Fifi may be the one person who could help her find her treasure after all.Meanwhile, on the sunny shores of Alola's Ula'ula Island, a laid back office worker faces her day to day with relaxed smile and confident swagger. However, underneath Jimena's smirk, lies a hollow sense of loneliness, exacerbated by hearing the ocean waves at night. Fabiana and Raine become a regular part of her life once they run into a mutual friend and they are encouraged to befriend her.At first she sees her friend's gesture as an act of pity, which she bemoans, but she agrees to show the women around Alola anyways, as she quickly grows fond of them. Their friendship in turn, has allowed for Jimena to find more to look forward to as she re-news her life. Through this, she ponders the idea of taking on one of the Pokemon Leagues for herself.
She will soon find herself transferred to Paldea for work related matters. Seeing this new change, she aims to take advantage of the region's Gym Challenge, signing up for Battle Studies classes and tutelage under a newly confident Fabiana.

This is simply just for fun!Note/Re: ships: None of my OCs are self inserts/sonas unless stated otherwise. My main ships are not self-ship and are strictly OC x Canon.
